Tengiz Korashvili, who was illegally detained by the occupation forces near the village of Khurvaleti, has been released and is in the territory controlled by the central government.

As stated in the information released by the State Security Service, work continues to release all citizens of Georgia illegally detained in the occupied territories.

"Tengiz Korashvili, illegally detained by the occupation forces near the village of Khurvaleti, Gori Municipality, on May 19 of this year, is free and is in the territory controlled by the central government.

We continue to actively work to release all citizens of Georgia illegally detained in the occupied territories," the reads statement.
