Protesters move from Melikishvili Avenue to Parliament

The protest rally has been ongoing on Rustaveli Avenue for the 287th day.

Protesters who had gathered near the headquarters of Kakha Kaladze, the mayoral candidate of the Georgian Dream, on Melikishvili Avenue, have joined those gathered near the parliament.

A verbal confrontation occurred between the protest participants and the police during the march.

The police called on the march participants to move off the roadway, which was followed by a commotion. In the end, the citizens did not obey the police request and continued the march on the roadway.

At the moment, the citizens have blocked traffic on Rustaveli Avenue.
