Former Defense Minister Juansher Burculadze has been arrested. The corresponding announcement was made a few minutes ago by the State Security Service.

“Following operational-search and investigative actions, and based on a court ruling, Juansher Burculadze, former Minister of Defense of Georgia, has been arrested for abuse of official powers and legalization of illegal income by a public official, which involved receiving an especially large amount of income,” the SSG stated.
