SSS: Hamlet Margvelashvili, illegally detained by occupation forces near the village of Zemo Khviti, has been released

Hamlet Margvelashvili, illegally detained by occupation forces on September 8 of this year near the village of Zemo Khviti in the Gori Municipality, has been released and is now on territory controlled by the central government. This information was released by the State Security Service (SSS).

"We continue active efforts to secure the release of all Georgian citizens illegally detained in the occupied territories," the statement notes.
