Arm wrestler Khatia Vibliani, accused of violence against a minor, has been granted a 3,000 GEL bail as a preventive measure.

This decision was made by Judge Lela Maridashvili.

The prosecution requested a 3,000 GEL bail as a preventive measure for the accused.

According to Prosecutor Natia Nozadze, Khatia Vibliani physically assaulted a 15-year-old child using her hands and feet.

The defense stated that the accused acknowledges the crime, expresses remorse, and is cooperating with the investigation.

The defense lawyer filed a motion to reduce the bail amount.

“I acknowledge the crime and regret it,” Vibliani stated.

In response to the judge’s question about her occupation or income, the accused clarified that she is an athlete and currently has no income beyond social assistance.

For reference, the Prosecutor’s Office charged Khatia Vibliani with violence against a minor with prior notice.

According to the investigation, on September 11 of this year, in Tbilisi, at a store, the accused Vibliani physically assaulted a minor and then continued the physical violence outside the store.
