Police arrest Nika Narsia at Tbilisi International Airport after court sentences him to administrative detention

Law enforcement officers have detained civil activist Nika Narsia.

Police detained him at Tbilisi International Airport as he was entering the country.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed the fact of Narsia's detention.

Tbilisi City Court Judge Lela Tsagareishvili found Nika Narsia an administrative violator and sentenced him to 15 days of administrative detention. Nika Narsia did not attend the pronouncement of the decision.
