At the UN, we will hear a statement read through a prompter, copied from a letter allegedly sent to Donald Trump - there will be a more flattering position for the Russian regime and Putin personally, - Giorgi Botkoveli, the regional secretary of the National Movement, told journalists in connection with Mikheil Kavelashvili's speech at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.
According to him, Mikheil Kavelashvili, during his speech at the UN, will once again show Russia that "they are fighting side by side against the civilized world".
“What statement should we hear from the president at the UN? We will hear a statement read through a prompter, which will be copied from the letter he allegedly sent to Donald Trump. Probably a tougher and more divisive position, a more flattering position for the Russian regime and Putin personally, in order to show that here too, “we are fighting side by side with you, against the civilized world,” said Giorgi Botkoveli.
In addition, he also spoke about the rally announced for October 4on Rustaveli Avenue.
“No one is going to cause any tension, any lawlessness. There will be a lot of people there, many enthusiastic, patriotic citizens of our country, whose number determines the expectations that we are talking about. In fact, it is a picket when so many people stand in the main square of the country. This is a picket of the square where a lot of Georgians, citizens of Georgia, enthusiastic patriotic people will stand. We will be participants in this process, along with a lot of citizens of Georgia who will gather. Almost everyone in our country is talking about this, that October 4 is a very important day for our country.
The National Movement and I personally support ending the Russian regime, which is tightening its grip on our country every day, so that our country will forever lose its connection with the civilized world, and therefore, every person will also lose its connection with the civilized world and become a closed country under Russian rule. I am going on October 4th, at four o'clock, with my four children," Botkoveli said.
