Mikheil Kavelashvili meets wit Slovak President

Mikheil Kavelashvili met with Slovak President Peter Pellegrini in New York. Mikheil Kavelashvili shared the information on social media.

As Kavelashvili wrote on Facebook, the main directions of cooperation between the two countries and ways to further deepen relations were discussed at the meeting.

“As I noted at the meeting, bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Slovakia is based on traditional ties between peoples, common values, and consideration of each other’s national interests, which is a solid foundation for the further development of relations. At the meeting, we emphasized the importance of intensifying economic ties and sectoral cooperation.

I thanked the President of Slovakia for his support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty,” Mikheil Kavelashvili’s statement reads.
