UK Ambassador leaves Foreign Ministry, declines to make comments

The meeting between the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Georgia, Gareth Ward, and representatives of the Foreign Ministry has ended. After the meeting, the diplomat did not comment on the details of the meeting with the media.

For information, the British Ambassador is the second diplomat to be summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Yesterday, on September 24, the German Ambassador, Peter Fischer, was also summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As he noted, this was the first time in the history of modern Georgian relations with Germany that a German Ambassador was summoned to the Ministry.
