According to the testimony of Gia Chaduneli, the driver of the murdered businessman Levan Jangveladze, who has the status of a victim in the case, Jangveladze met with former Prosecutor General Otar Partskhaladze twice in Georgia.
According to Chaduneli's testimony, after leaving the last meeting with Partskhaladze, Jangveladze seemed radically different and surprised.
Before the testimony began, when Judge Giorgi Gelashvili asked if he knew the accused Gela Udzilauri, Chaduneli replied - "I can't forget his face."
"I have known the Jangveladze family for 17 years. After the so-called Rose Revolution, I became unemployed and started working in a private security service. I worked with businessman Avto Sakvarelidze, and then I met Levan Jangveladze," Chaduneli said.
According to his testimony, Jangveladze often came to Georgia. As Chaduneli noted, he himself does not know the Mikadze brothers, Giorgi Jokhadze and Otar Partskhaladze.
According to the witness, Jangveladze had a restaurant business in Russia.
When asked by the prosecutor what information he had about whether Partskhaladze and Jangveladze had met in Georgia, the witness gave a positive answer.
“Last summer, we went to Kostava Street, and was inside the first floor of the building for about an hour. I knew from Levan himself that he had met Partskhaladze. He was in a normal mood, we returned to the “Ambassador”. He did not ask me any questions,” Chaduneli said.
When asked by the prosecutor whether he had seen the Mikadzes there at the aforementioned meeting, he replied that he “could not say for sure.”
He also recalled another episode of Jangveladze’s meeting with Partskhaladze.
"We went to the financial police, he said he had to meet Otar Partskhaladze. They stayed there for about half an hour," Chadunel said.
According to him, Levan Jangveladze, after leaving the meeting, seemed surprised and he was radically different from the first meeting.
