Ministry of Internal Affairs: Gela Khasaia, a member of the Girchi - More Freedom, has been arrested on charges of intentional infliction of minor bodily harm

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Gela Khasaia, a member of the Girchi – More Freedom party, was arrested on charges of intentional infliction of minor bodily harm. According to the agency, another person was also arrested together with him.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the investigation revealed that the accused, on the basis of a mutual dispute, inflicted various types of bodily harm on R.Ch., born in 1975, and fled the scene.

The injured person has been taken to a clinic.

"As a result of the conducted operational measures and investigative actions, officers of the Old Tbilisi Main Division of the Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested G.Kh., born in 1997, and V.K., born in 1998, on charges of intentional minor injury to health.

The crime is punishable by up to 3 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the defendants, on the basis of a mutual dispute, inflicted various types of injuries to R.Kh., born in 1975, and fled the scene of the incident.

The injured man was taken to the hospital, where he was provided with appropriate medical assistance.

As a result of the investigative actions conducted by law enforcement officers, G.Kh. and V.K. were arrested as defendants.

The incident is being investigated under Article 120 of the Criminal Code," reads the information.
