One individual involved in the incident near the Mtkvari Bridge has already been identified and taken to the police for questioning, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The ministry noted that additional details about the incident will be provided later.

“Police officers have identified one individual involved in the incident near the Mtkvari Bridge and have taken them for questioning. We will soon provide the public with additional information regarding other details of the incident,” the statement reads.

For reference, students were planning to make a statement near the Mtkvari Bridge regarding the October 4 rally when, according to their information, they were attacked. As a result, Igor Narmania, the chairman of the youth organization of the “National Movement,” and another young person were injured.
