Protesters block Rustaveli Avenue, Freedom Square

A protest is underway on Rustaveli Avenue. The student march, which started from the first building of TSU, has joined the protest ongoing on Rustaveli Avenue.

Protesters have completely blocked Rustaveli Avenue. Freedom Square is also blocked.

According to the students, the goal of today's gathering is to fight for the salvation of the homeland.

Those gathered on Rustaveli have brought Georgian flags. The organizers of the protest called for today's protest to bring Georgian flags, as they also referred to today as the day of the "Flag Revolution".

It is noteworthy that today is the 311th day of continuous protest. Citizens come out daily with unchanged demands: the appointment of new parliamentary elections and the release of those detained during the protests.

A stage has been set up on Freedom Square, where the protest will continue. The main part of the protest will be held in front of the Tbilisi City Council building.
