Moldova’s Foreign Ministry: We express solidarity with the people of Georgia amid the recent violence in Tbilisi

“We express solidarity with the people of Georgia amid the recent violence in Tbilisi,” reads a statement published by Moldova’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the social platform X.

“We call for restraint, dialogue, and respect for democratic principles. Democracy cannot be established through the use of force; violence undermines the European values that Georgia strives to uphold,” the statement notes.
