Ballot counting has been completed - the extensive use of electronic technologies in the elections was successfully implemented, and the election administration was able to announce preliminary results just 1 hour and 25 minutes after polling closed, stated CEC spokesperson Natia Ioseliani during a briefing.

According to her, the electoral process proceeded without interruption on technological polling stations, and there was no need to continue voting using traditional methods at any precinct.

Ioseliani noted that a total of 25 complaints have been submitted to the district election commissions, mainly concerning violations of photo and video recording rules, setup of voting premises, voter registration outside polling stations, and so on.

"All results from all polling stations (3,061 precincts) have been counted. Detailed information is available on the CEC website results.cec.gov.ge.

As yesterday's day showed once again, this time for municipal body elections, the extensive use of electronic technologies was successfully implemented, and the election administration was able to announce preliminary results just 1 hour and 25 minutes after polling closed.

It is noteworthy that the electoral process proceeded without interruption on technological polling stations, and there was no need to continue voting using traditional methods at any precinct.

Additionally, as a reminder, within the deadlines established by law, in every electoral district, 5 polling stations identified by random selection from those existing on the district's territory will be recounted, both in the case of technological and traditional precincts," Ioseliani stated.
