It's a double standard, it turns out that what is possible for them is not possible for us - this is how Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze assessed the statement of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
As Kaladze stated, it will not work out in Georgia that some countries will finance revolutions and extremist organizations.
"How can we know that they will organize revolutions here, bring money, finance extremist organizations, incite violent groups, and how can the state take concrete steps in this regard?! That will not work out," - Kakha Kaladze stated.
For information, the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on the social platform X:
"A sad day for democracy in Georgia. OSCE/ODIHR unable to observe local elections, recommendations unaddressed. Regrettable use of violence. Repressive laws and jailing opposition leaders further undermine trust in Georgia’s elections," the statement said.
