Today's reality once again demonstrates – no elections have been held and this is a fact that no one can change, - Giorgi Vashadze, the leader of Strategy Builder, writes in a letter released from prison, which was posted on his social network.

Vashadze expresses solidarity with the "new political prisoners" and states that his teammate Paata Manjgaladze is "in the unjust captivity of the regime".

According to Vashadze, his arrest is yet another proof that "the regime is based only on fear and repression".

On October 4, thousands of Georgian citizens took to the streets again. This was a powerful demonstration that the Georgian people will not give up. This day once again put our protest back on the international agenda and the world clearly saw that the struggle continues.

I would like to express special solidarity with the new political prisoners.

Our party’s Secretary General Paata Manjgaladze, an innocent, honest, patriotic person who grew up in a family of active participants in the national movement, is today in the unjust captivity of the regime.

His arrest is yet another proof that the regime is based only on fear and repression.

But they are too late, nothing can stop the peaceful, just and democratic struggle of the Georgian people.

This struggle will continue and will end only with the victory of Georgia! ”, - writes Vashadze.
