Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs: In connection with the events that unfolded in Tbilisi on October 4, 15 individuals involved in the crime have been identified, of whom 13 have already been detained, and two are currently in hiding

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has detained 13 individuals in connection with the events that unfolded in Tbilisi on October 4. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, at a briefing

According to him, two more individuals have been identified who are in hiding.

"As is known to the public, in the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, an investigation is underway in connection with the criminal events that took place in the city of Tbilisi on October 4, under Articles 317, 222, 225, and 187 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

As part of the investigation, at the initial stage, law enforcement officers have identified 15 individuals involved in the crime, of whom, based on a court ruling, 13 individuals have already been detained - these are: T.M., A.N., D.Zh., B.M., A.G., E.Sh., G.R., V.P., D.S., M.M., A.Kh., K.M., and S.M.

Two individuals are currently in hiding. The police are conducting appropriate operational-search and investigative measures to establish their whereabouts and detain them.

Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia continue to carry out relevant investigative actions in order to identify other persons who committed the crime and bring them to criminal responsibility," stated the Minister of Internal Affairs.
