Irakli Kobakhidze: 50-100 people who block the streets and commit violence against 4 million people who want peace and tranquility in this country - it is impossible for this to continue and for us to allow it

According to him, these individuals will face consequences for their violence within the framework of the law. Kobakhidze stated that these people deserve zero sympathy.

"With our methodical approach, everyone should wait and see how the processes unfold. Zero sympathy - this is what these people deserve. Foreign agents cannot expect any sympathy from state representatives. Within the framework and boundaries of the law, they will face consequences for the violence they perpetrate against 4 million people in this country," the Prime Minister declared.

Additionally, the Prime Minister noted that assemblies can be restricted, especially since "the gatherings that have been held over the past year are subject to restriction under the law and international standards when the number of participants is insufficient."

"The logic of the law and human rights standards is this: if you are not gathered in sufficient numbers to block a street, you must respect your fellow citizens who want to pass through that street unhindered. It’s a matter of basic respect, and this is the foundation of human rights standards. But no, 100 people should not be allowed to commit violence against thousands and millions of people. With our methodical approach, these individuals will face consequences for the year-long violence carried out by these 100 people against 4 million people, against Georgia’s national interests, and against our economy," Kobakhidze told Rustavi 2.
