Berdia Sichinava: On October 4, the boycott prevailed over common sense, but once emotions and disappointment pass, we will all have the opportunity to reflect on our mistakes! This station is not our final stop! The fight continues!

“On October 4, the boycott prevailed over common sense, but once emotions and disappointment pass, we will all have the opportunity to reflect on and reassess our mistakes! ‘Georgian Dream’ is a boulder rolling down the mountain, trying to destroy everything in its path, but the moment will surely come soon when it will end its political journey,” wrote Berdia Sichinava, Executive Secretary of the “Gakharia for Georgia” party, on social media.

As Sichinava notes, “the fight continues until victory.”

“As Churchill said, ‘Success is the ability to go from one failure to another without losing enthusiasm or optimism. That is when true victory will come.’

‘We unite for Georgia’ - these words founded our political alliance, where the main criteria are dignity, integrity, and professionalism.

Fighting for Georgia has been our conscious choice since the day when many people, at the expense of their own comfort, positions, or finances, decided to enter this unequal battle and confront the division of society, corruption, poverty, violence, injustice, chaos, and the halting of the country’s future.

We have gone through three elections with successes, political mistakes, and failures, but the greatest victory we have achieved over these years, which no one can ever take away from us, is that no artificially imposed defeat, no declaration by ‘Georgian Dream’ as their number one political target, nor the sabotage by the sold-out part of the opposition can bring us down.

Unfortunately, on October 4, the boycott prevailed over common sense, but once emotions and disappointment pass, we will all have the opportunity to reflect on and reassess our mistakes! Everything will be called by its proper name!

I often say that ‘Georgian Dream’ is a boulder rolling down the mountain, trying to destroy everything in its path, but the moment will surely come soon when it will end its political journey.

Facing mistakes and assessing them correctly only makes us stronger!

This station is not our final stop! The fight continues until victory!” Sichinava writes on social media.
