Kakha Kaladze: I will not engage in the political speculations started by unrated, out-of-touch politicians regarding the votes received - I thank Tbilisi especially for its support, and I will not tire of serving you

I will not engage in the political speculations started by unrated, out-of-touch politicians regarding the votes received - I thank Tbilisi especially for its support, and I will not tire of serving you, stated Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze during a meeting of the capital’s government.

According to him, Tbilisi will undoubtedly become an even more developed European city.

“With this choice, the population has once again affirmed its will and goal for the peaceful development of the country and a better future for Tbilisi. We achieved an unprecedentedly high result in Tbilisi. Over 71% of the voters who went to the polling stations expressed their trust in us. This amounts to 215,370 votes, which far exceeds, for example, the 2017 local self-governance elections, where we achieved success in the first round. I will not engage in the political speculations started by unrated, out-of-touch politicians and the media outlets they control regarding the votes received. The population of the capital, as well as the entire country, has once again shown them their place, for which I thank you once again. I especially thank Tbilisi for its support and trust. I will not tire of serving you. Neither I nor my teammates will spare any effort in serving you devotedly,” Kaladze stated.
