Nikol Pashinyan to participate in the official opening of the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, will participate in the official opening ceremony of the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum and the high-level dialogue. This information is disseminated by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.

According to the ministry's report, Nikol Pashinyan will speak before the forum participants alongside the Prime Ministers of Georgia and Azerbaijan.

“The Tbilisi Silk Road Forum will be held for the fifth time on October 22-23 and will be attended by up to 2,000 delegates. The forum serves as a crucial platform for dialogue and cooperation to strengthen regional and global connectivity.

High-ranking political figures, representatives from the business sector and international organizations, prime ministers and deputy prime ministers from countries in the region, sectoral ministers, leaders of leading global companies and international financial institutions, and internationally renowned experts will participate in the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum.

For the first time within the framework of the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum, the Tbilisi Financial Summit will take place on October 23, which is unprecedented in scale. The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the National Bank of Georgia will organize the Financial Summit in partnership with the Global Finance and Technology Network (GFTN), based in Singapore.

Within the framework of the forum, panel sessions will discuss key directions such as international trade and existing challenges, transport and logistics, Middle Corridor development, energy, digital transformation, and more. A separate panel session will be dedicated to discussing Georgia's investment climate and opportunities.

The ‘Tbilisi Silk Road Forum’ was first held in 2015 and, due to its significance and scale, is conducted every two years,” the information states.
