The Ministry of Internal Affairs has detained two individuals who, according to the investigation, caused various injuries to three Polish citizens near a restaurant in Tbilisi.
In addition, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, one of the detainees physically assaulted them using a blunt object.
“As a result of the conducted operational measures and investigative actions, officers of the Old Tbilisi Main Division of the Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested S.J., born in 2004, and E.G., born in 1985, who had been convicted of various serious crimes in the past, on charges of violence against two or more persons.
The investigation established that the defendants, on the basis of a mutual dispute, inflicted various types of injuries on three Polish citizens in the vicinity of a restaurant in Tbilisi, and during the physical confrontation, one of the defendants, E.G., physically assaulted them using a blunt object.
After the incident, the defendants fled the scene.
The injured foreign citizens were taken to the clinic for appropriate medical assistance.
As a result of the conducted operational measures and investigative actions, law enforcement officers arrested E.G. and S.J.
The incident is being investigated under Part One of Article 126 of the Criminal Code,” reads the information.
