The Tbilisi City Court applied pre-trial detention against Gocha Katashvili, Saba Kordzaia, Sulkhan Abralava, Beka Kelekhsashvili, Giorgi Kiknavelidze and Nana Sander in connection with the events taking place in Tbilisi on October 4.

The decision was made by Judge Pikria Sikturishvili.

For information, an investigation is underway against the persons involved in the events that took place near the Atoneli Palace under Articles 317, 222, 225 and 187 of the Criminal Code. As of October 9, the number of detainees as part of the aforementioned investigation has reached 44.
