The OSCE appreciates Georgia’s continued engagement in the Geneva International Discussions, in theIncident Containment and Prevention Mechanism. It is important for us to continue active cooperation and participation in this process, which allows us to ensure border protection, - said the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen.z

According to the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, reconciliation is a very important element in the future peace-building process and more needs to be done in this direction.

“The OSCE appreciates Georgia’s continued engagement in the Geneva International Discussions, in the Incident Containment and Prevention Mechanism. It is important for us to continue active cooperation and participation in this process, which allows us to ensure border protection. We see potential for more activities in this direction and the capabilities of border protection. The OSCE stands ready to provide expert assistance together with the OSCE Monitoring Mission. We consider reconciliation to be a very important element in the future peace-building process. We call on you to do more in this direction,” the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office said.
