Business and Technology University has been awarded the prestigious title of Europe’s “Trainer of the Year” by EIT Digital, the European Union’s leading platform for digital innovation and education. The recognition was granted within the framework of the Deep Tech Talent Initiative (DTTI), which aims to upskill over one million specialists across Europe in deep technology fields.

Since 2023, the “Trainer of the Year” award has been presented annually to universities and organizations that demonstrate outstanding excellence in technology education and training under the Deep Tech Talent Initiative. The initiative seeks to retrain one million individuals across Europe by the end of 2025 in strategic areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, quantum technologies, and digital innovation. The selection process involves prominent European universities, research institutions, and technology hubs, with key evaluation criteria including the quality and innovation of educational delivery.

The EIT Education and Skills Days, held annually in Brussels, brings together four core pillars of the EIT ecosystem: Skills Academies, Deep Tech Talent Initiative, Women and Girls in STEM, and the Higher Education Initiative. This two-day event gathers leading universities, industry representatives, policymakers, and innovators from across Europe. The program features panel discussions, student challenges, keynote sessions, and networking activities, providing a platform for sharing best practices and advancements in digital education and innovation.
