State Security Service on Searches Involving Irakli Garibashvili, Grigol Liluashvili, Otar Partskhaladze, and Related Individuals: No one is currently being questioned or detained

According to a statement from the State Security Service (SSS), none of the eight individuals, including former Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, former head of the State Security Service Grigol Liluashvili, and former Chief Prosecutor Otar Partskhaladze, have been detained.

As stated to “Interpressnews” by the agency, none of these individuals are currently being questioned.

“After examining the seized electronic devices and other items, including their origins, the individuals will be questioned, and legal assessments will only be possible afterward. Today, no one is being questioned, and no one is detained,” the SSS stated.

For context, according to Prosecutor General Giorgi Gvarakidze, searches were conducted at the residences, homes, and personal belongings of eight individuals, including former Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, former head of the State Security Service Grigol Liluashvili, former Chief Prosecutor Otar Partskhaladze, and related persons.

Gvarakidze also noted that various electronic devices, documentation, and a large amount of cash were seized.
