EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting underway in Luxembourg - issue of Georgia is one of issues to be discussed

The EU Foreign Affairs Council is meeting in Luxembourg, where the issue of Georgia will also be discussed.

Before the meeting, EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, told reporters that they will discuss the worrying developments in Georgia.

“The Georgian population has shown in the last three elections, in the ongoing protests, and polls also show that they want a European future, but the government does not. It seems that their government does not listen to its own people and does not want to follow the European path,” the European Commissioner noted.
