The Tbilisi Silk Road Forum, which is being held for the fifth time, is of the utmost importance, which will further highlight Georgia's role in the region, - Georgian Dream MP Davit Matikashvili told journalists in connection with the opening of the Silk Road Forum.

According to Matikashvili, projects of regional importance will be discussed at the forum.

"As you know, our country has been visited by heads of state, presidents, prime ministers, foreign ministers, and heads of economic sectors from various states and neighboring countries. At this forum, regional-scale projects are discussed, the goals that our region has, and Georgia's role as a carrier of an important function in this regard is becoming even more evident. We expect that this forum, just like before, will successfully complete its activities," Matikashvili said.
