Giga Lemonjava sentenced to 14 days of administrative detention

Giga Lemonjava, one of the leaders of the "Coalition for Change," was sentenced to 14 days of administrative detention. He was detained on October 24 near the Tbilisi City Court. The Ministry of Internal Affairs accused him of artificially blocking the road.

"I do not recognize the legitimacy of this institution. This is not a court. I have no intention of participating in this formal process, and therefore I will leave the courtroom," Giga Lemonjava stated during the court hearing. His statement was disseminated by the party's press service.
