According to the Municipality City Hall, this was a performance prepared by schoolchildren, at the end of which the children showed united Georgia.

As reported, the map of Georgia ultimately took on the appearance shown in the photo.

“We would like to respond to the dirty speculation by specific people regarding the illustrated map of Georgia, which was caused by the performance presented by young people on the social network within the framework of “Chiatura 2025”.

This was a performance prepared by schoolchildren, at the end of which the children showed united Georgia.

The theatrical performance aimed to remind the public once again that the struggle for independence and territorial integrity is a constant process.

One of the photos showed a map of Georgia, on which the Russian-occupied Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions were visible as empty spaces. Later, the municipality deleted the photo from the page and published a new statement and photo with the appropriate explanation
