The individual who, yesterday on Tsotne Dadiani Street near the 10th Public School, repeatedly performed dangerous maneuvers with a vehicle during a protest, has been transferred to a psychiatric facility. This information became known to InterpressNews.

He will undergo treatment at the clinic.

For reference, a video of the incident circulated on social media. According to the footage, an unidentified person performed dangerous maneuvers with a vehicle near the protest participants, during which he collided with one of the cars parked in the area. The video also shows a high-ranking police official attempting to stop him; in response, the driver directed the vehicle toward the law enforcement leader and lightly struck him.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs states that an investigation has been launched under Articles 123 and 125 of the Administrative Offenses Code, which cover leaving the scene of a traffic accident, failure to comply with a police officer's demand to stop a vehicle, and violation of traffic rules by a driver.

For reference, the incident occurred while students and parents on Tsotne Dadiani Street were demanding space allocation for the 10th Public School and the construction of a new school, for which they had blocked the street.
