According to their information, attempts to discredit the Penitentiary Service's activities have increased recently.

"The Special Penitentiary Service responds to the latest disinformation spread by certain biased media outlets regarding the recording of HIV and tuberculosis cases in Ksani N15 penitentiary institution.

For the purpose of informing the public, we emphasize that as of today, no cases of HIV or tuberculosis are recorded in Ksani N15 penitentiary institution.

It is noteworthy that in the recent period, attempts by certain biased media outlets and individuals to discredit the Penitentiary Service's activities through defamatory statements and manipulation of public opinion have intensified.

The Special Penitentiary Service once again calls on all interested persons and media outlets to refrain from disseminating any unverified and unsubstantiated information, which not only misleads the public but also leads family members of the accused/convicted astray," the statement reads.
