Over the past decades, more than 13,000 students and academic staff from Georgia have studied and undergone training in Europe through the Erasmus+ program. This information is disseminated by the EU Delegation in Georgia.

As stated in the released information, the travel, study, and living expenses of the students were fully funded by the European Union.

"These exchanges have opened doors to education and innovation, helping young people from Georgia acquire new skills, perspectives, and career opportunities.

Through scholarships from the Erasmus Mundus joint master's programs, 290 Georgian students have studied at leading European universities - contributing to their academic success and professional growth.

At the same time, more than 22,000 young people from Georgia have participated in EU-funded youth learning mobility, cultural projects, and training programs, strengthening dialogue, engagement, and the sharing of common European values.

GEEU Among partner countries outside the EU, Georgia ranks 4th in outgoing mobility through the Erasmus+ program - reflecting the desire of Georgian citizens to gain knowledge, experience, and build connections in Europe," the information states.
