As a result of the operational measures and investigative actions conducted, officers of the Vake-Saburtalo Main Division of the Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested 4 individuals - J.Ch., born in 1996, L.G., born in 2000, D.P., born in 1999, and D.K., born in 1995, on charges of organizing and participating in group violence.

According to the MIA, Manana Giorgobiani has already been detained by law enforcement officers in connection with the aforementioned criminal case.

“The crime is punishable by up to 9 years in prison.

On November 2 of this year, late at night, one of the accused Manana Giorgobiani verbally abused employees of a supermarket located on Chikovani Street in Tbilisi - T.M., born in 2006, and E.M., born in 2004. After that, she contacted her acquaintance - J. Ch., born in 1996, who arrived at the scene with accompanying persons, during which they forcibly took two supermarket employees outside and physically assaulted them in a group.

Relevant investigative actions are continuing in connection with the fact in order to determine the whereabouts of another person who committed the crime and to bring him to criminal responsibility.

In addition, as a result of the investigative actions conducted by law enforcement officers, firearms and ammunition allegedly illegally stored by one of the detainees, J.C., have been seized as evidence. Among them: 2 automatic firearms, a smooth-bore rifle and 110 cartridges for various types of firearms.

The investigation is underway under Articles 225 and 126 of the Criminal Code, which refer to group violence and organization of group violence," reads the information.
