The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that officers of the Kakheti Police Department have arrested three individuals — Nika Zautashvili (born in 1985), Givi Zautashvili (born in 1982), and Levan Geladze (born in 1981) — on charges of violence.

According to the investigation, on November 8 of this year, during a conflict that began over a domestic issue in Kvareli, Nika Zautashvili, his brother Givi Zautashvili, and Levan Geladze first engaged in a verbal dispute, which then escalated into a physical altercation. During the incident, Nika Zautashvili injured Levan Geladze in the facial area using a blunt object.

“All three individuals have been arrested as defendants. The investigation into the act of violence is being conducted under Article 126 of the Criminal Code of Georgia,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated.
