The target audience of the “Eagle Hills” projects is, and will remain, the citizens of Georgia — this is what the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Irakli Nadareishvili, stated in response to information circulated by certain opposition groups claiming that the “Eagle Hills” real estate projects are primarily intended for foreign citizens and that Georgians will not be able to purchase property there.
According to him, such claims are “absurd.”
“This is absurd, because it is unimaginable to have a situation where a real estate project is being developed in the country and the local population does not have the possibility to buy property there. Of course, the target audience of these projects is, and will remain, the citizens of Georgia,” said Irakli Nadareishvili.
According to the Deputy Minister, the cost of real estate in the “Eagle Hills” projects will correspond to the economic situation in Georgia.
“This will be reflected in the pricing policy of the projects, because it is simply impossible for the prices to be detached from the commercial foundations that apply to construction and other costs in Georgia. At the same time, we are familiar with the ‘Eagle Hills’ projects developed in other countries. Therefore, such a risk is simply unimaginable,” noted Irakli Nadareishvili.
According to him, the sales office of the company is located in the most representative area of Tbilisi, on Rustaveli Avenue, where purchasing property will be accessible for Georgian citizens. He added that an active campaign and pre-sales will begin within a certain period.
“Very soon the myth will be shattered that there is some special pricing policy here. There were even claims that something like that was written in the contract — it is absolutely unimaginable how a contract could contain differentiation or quotas based on nationality. It is laughable,” said Irakli Nadareishvili.
The information was released by the Ministry of Economy.
