I will definitely not accept any remarks, let alone lies, from those representatives of the Georgian Dream who are currently trampling on the Georgian Constitution and are taking Georgia in a completely different direction instead of its Euro-Atlantic course, - this is how the leader of the European Georgia, Gigi Tsereteli, responds to the statement of the leaders of the Georgian Dream, who accuse opposition politicians of spreading lies.

According to Gigi Tsereteli, they will not see a single word or statement where he would say that the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly adopted a resolution.

According to him, the resolution was adopted by the European People's Party faction in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and its spirit does not differ from the official resolution adopted by the European Parliamentary Assembly in Portugal a few months ago.

“I am not surprised by anything from those people who sell lies as truth – declaring violations of the Constitution, political repression, deprivation of free choice as a step on the European path.

Today and in various contexts, they remind me that I am distorting something, that there are some tricks, as if it is some other resolution and it is being sold as another resolution. These are the people who have been saying black on white and white on black all this time, they are the people who have put Georgia’s European future under question and under a huge blow. What claims do these people have? They cannot find a single word or statement where I said that the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly adopted a resolution. It does not exist in nature. I understand very well, I know very well and I do not make such mistakes.

I did not make this statement. This was not an official resolution of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, but this is a resolution of the faction or group of the European People's Party in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. What is unexpected here? They do not talk about substantive issues because they do not like it, they cannot say that it does not exist, so they focus on procedural issues. This is also a lie.

This is a statement of a specific political group, a group operating in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. As for the resolution of the Parliamentary Assembly itself, it happened a few months ago in Portugal and they know very well how sharp and critical the statement was, there is not much difference in spirit,” said Gigi Tsereteli.

For information, the Chairperson of the National Movement, Tina Bokuchava, stated that a resolution on Georgia was adopted at the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

The leaders of the Georgian Dream responded to the aforementioned statement. As the First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament Gia Volski stated, “The EPP adopted a resolution and a resolution was adopted in the OSCE format - they write as if the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly adopted some resolution.”
