We are very concerned about the developments in Georgia, - Swedish Foreign Minister Maria Stenegard said in response to a question from Euroscope editor Tamar Nutsubidze before the start of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Brussels.

"We are very concerned about the developments in Georgia. They are taking steps very quickly against EU membership. This is what worries me very much. We are trying to support in every way the citizens who are working for democracy and freedom of the press, which we consider to be urgent issues in Georgia," - said the Swedish Foreign Minister.
