We appreciate the commitment of the Georgian people to freedom and democracy, - French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said in response to a question from Euroscope editor Tamar Nutsubidze before the start of the meeting of the European Union Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels.
"My message to the Georgian people is the following: we appreciate their commitment to freedom and democracy. As for the government, we had, and I also had, several opportunities to express our thoughts personally to those concerned," - said the French Foreign Minister.
