Kakha Kaladze - 300 people have remained and they walk back and forth at the rallies, they have no support from the people, they are unsuccessful - that is why they dislike successful people, including our football players

300 people have remained and they walk back and forth at the rallies. They have no support from the people, they are unsuccessful. That is why they dislike successful people, including our football players, - the mayor of the capital Kakha Kaladze said in a conversation with journalists.

According to Kakha Kaladze, the insulting statements made against the members of the Georgian national football team in recent days are wrong, because the players have raised Georgian football to a different level.

"These people are shameful, with their statements and messages that we hear about our football players. They oppose everyone and everything who does not stand by them. They criticize everyone, insult, curse, curse. A healthy society actually analyzes and sees clearly who is who. 300 people have remained and they walk back and forth at the rallies. They have no support from the people, they are unsuccessful. That is why they dislike successful people, including our football players. They represent an evil group and fight against all the successes of the country.

As for our national team, there are both successful games and unsuccessful ones. It is impossible otherwise. This is football and you cannot always win. However, we love and respect our team and our boys, regardless of losses and wins. They are young people who have brought back the love for Georgian football and they have raised us to a different standard. We were all happy when history was written and our national team qualified for the European Championship. The following year, when the team lost several games, it is not right to curse and insult the players because of this," said Kakha Kaladze.
