Kakha Kaladze: I communicated with Luka Dzadzamia and leaving the City Council is his personal decision; he has received countless insults in recent months - he will continue working in the private sector

According to the Mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze, member of the Tbilisi City Council, Luka Dzadzamia, left the Council based on his personal decision.

As he told journalists, Luka Dzadzamia will continue working in the private sector on his own initiative.

“I communicated with Luka; this is his personal decision. This young man has received countless insults over the past months, and it is his choice to continue working in the private sector, in a private direction. He will make his own statement regarding this. He is a supporter of Georgian Dream, and he made this decision. Considering all circumstances and all interests, he made this decision. Yesterday we spoke about it. He will provide his own explanation,” Kaladze said.

Regarding the question of whether Dzadzamia’s departure is related to his past participation in opposition protests, Kakha Kaladze responded that “nobody is without mistakes.”

“Luka Dzadzamia is a young person. Everyone makes mistakes in life. No one is infallible — not you, not me, not anyone. We have all made mistakes, especially when we are young. He already gave explanations about this, that he had made a mistake. Accordingly, he provided a clarification regarding his actions and his current position,” Kaladze stated.

For reference, Luka Dzadzamia has left the Tbilisi City Council. The 21-year-old entered the Council through the proportional list of Georgian Dream.
