Participants of the protest march traveled from Avlabari to Marjanishvili Square by metro

The participants of the protest march traveled by metro from Avlabari metro station toward Marjanishvili metro station.

They are now gathered near Marjanishvili metro station, and the surrounding area has been taken over by police. Police appeared at the location after the marchers arrived. The police forces are positioned in a way that prevents the demonstrators from blocking the roadway.

Chants of “Fire to the oligarchy” and “Until the end” can be heard.

It is not yet known which specific streets the march will move through.

The rally near the Parliament building is planned at 21:00. Citizens will gather near the Parliament with their unchanged demands — the announcement of new parliamentary elections and the release of individuals detained during the protests.
