TV Pirveli journalist Giorgi Mamniashvili fined 3,000 GEL

The court has declared Giorgi Mamniashvili, a journalist of TV Pirveli, who was detained on administrative charges, an administrative violator.

Judge Zviad Tsekvava imposed a fine of 3,000 GEL on him as an administrative penalty.

Mamniashvili was arrested on November 22 during a protest. According to TV Pirveli, he was performing his professional duties. Mamniashvili was charged with committing acts under Article 173, Part 1 and Article 166 of the Criminal Code, which include disobedience to a police officer and petty hooliganism.
