Gedevan Popkhadze, one of the leaders of the Coalition for Change, whose health condition has recently worsened, according to the hunger strikers, has also called off his hunger strike.

For information, Gedevan Popkhadze resorted to an extreme form of protest on October 28 and began a hunger strike. Darejan Tskhvitaria and several other activists also declared a hunger strike together with the opposition leader. Their demand was to “release political prisoners and call new parliamentary elections.”
