Kakha Kaladze: The information published by the BBC is sheer nonsense - there is an attack on our country, and if any dirt can be imagined, they do everything to fabricate it

“The information published by the BBC is sheer nonsense. If any kind of dirt can be imagined, they do everything to fabricate it,” - this is what Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said today to Georgian journalists while commenting on the material published by the BBC.

According to him, Georgia is under attack, and efforts are being made to spread information filled entirely with lies.

“This is sheer nonsense. You can see how our country is under attack - if any kind of dirt can be imagined, they do everything, they do everything to spread information that is entirely filled with lies.

I don’t even know if it’s worth giving a serious response to this type of nonsense,” - said Kakha Kaladze.

For context: The BBC published a report claiming that the evidence they collected indicates that the Georgian government allegedly used World War I–era chemical weapons last year to suppress anti-government protests.
