According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, in November 2025, compared to the previous month, the inflation rate in Georgia was 0.4%, while the annual inflation rate was 4.8%.

As stated in the information released by Geostat, in November 2025 the core inflation rate compared to the same period of the previous year amounted to 2.6%, while the annual core inflation rate excluding tobacco was 2.3%.

“The formation of the monthly inflation rate was mainly influenced by price changes in the following groups:

Food and non-alcoholic beverages:Prices increased by 0.9%, which contributed 0.34 percentage points to monthly inflation. During this period, prices increased in the following subgroups: oils and fats (4.2%), vegetables and melons (3.8%), bread and bakery products (1.9%), fish (1.4%), milk, cheese and eggs (1.4%), meat and meat products (1.2%), coffee, tea and cocoa (0.5%), mineral and spring water, soft drinks and natural juices (0.2%). At the same time, prices decreased in the subgroups of fruit and grapes (–6.8%) and sugar, jam and other sweets (–1.5%).

Miscellaneous goods and services:Prices in this group increased by 1.8%. Accordingly, the group’s contribution to the monthly index amounted to 0.09 percentage points. Prices mainly increased in the subgroups of personal items not elsewhere classified (3.2%) and personal hygiene (2.7%).

Furniture, household items and home care:Prices in this group increased by 0.9%. Accordingly, the group’s contribution to the monthly index amounted to 0.05 percentage points. Prices increased in the subgroups of household cleaning and maintenance goods (2.4%), household textiles (2.1%), furniture, household items, carpets and other floor coverings (1.5%), glassware, tableware and household utensils (0.7%). At the same time, prices decreased in the subgroups of heaters and cooking appliances, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines and other household equipment including installation and repair (–3.1%), and tools, equipment and supplies for home and garden (–2.3%).

Transport:Prices in this group decreased by 0.4%, which reduced monthly inflation by –0.05 percentage points. Price reductions were recorded in the subgroups of transport services (–1.4%) and operation of personal transport vehicles (–0.3%).

As for the annual inflation rate, the main influence on the formation of annual inflation was exerted by price changes in the following groups:

Food and non-alcoholic beverages:Prices increased by 10.3%, contributing 3.48 percentage points to annual inflation. Prices increased in the subgroups of fruit and grapes (16.9%), fish (15.5%), oils and fats (14.9%), bread and bakery products (13.6%), coffee, tea and cocoa (12.0%), sugar, jam and other sweets (11.6%), mineral and spring water, soft drinks and natural juices (8.6%), milk, cheese and eggs (8.5%), meat and meat products (6.5%), vegetables and melons (5.1%).

Healthcare:Prices in this group increased by 8.0%, contributing 0.66 percentage points to annual inflation. Prices increased in the subgroups of outpatient medical services (9.0%), hospital services (9.0%) and medical products, appliances and equipment (6.6%).

Alcoholic beverages and tobacco:Prices increased by 4.4%. Accordingly, the group’s contribution to the annual index amounted to 0.28 percentage points. Prices increased for both tobacco products (7.0%) and alcoholic beverages (1.7%).
