We see the criticism the US subjected the EU and the European bureaucrats to when they presented their national security strategy - maybe they should think about how uncomfortable it is when someone from the outside dictates something to you, - Georgian Dream MP Levan Machavariani told journalists.
According to him, some EU actors and a large part of the European bureaucracy are blatantly interfering in Georgia's internal affairs, justice, the electoral process and everyday decisions.
"We see the criticism the US subjected the EU and the European bureaucrats to when they presented their national security strategy. The Eurobureaucracy was outraged - we see Mr. Costa, Ms. Kallas making comments. It turns out it is not possible to interfere in the internal affairs of the EU. While these very actors and a large part of the rest of the Eurobureaucracy are blatantly interfering in Georgia's internal affairs, in the justice system, in the electoral process, in everyday decisions; making comments on the adoption of laws that the parliament adopts after we have full legitimacy from our population; sending their delegations to Georgia when something is not going well; conducting an election campaign instead of the radical opposition; sending their foreign ministers to anti-government rallies. Accordingly, it is very good that they are now empiercing this themselves and maybe they will now think about the fact how uncomfortable it is when someone from the outside dictates something to you," said Levan Machavariani.
