Joe Wilson: It is outrageous that the husband of the ambassador appointed to the U.S. by the “Georgian Dream” regime is allegedly helping Russia evade U.S. sanctions

“It is outrageous that the husband of the ambassador appointed to the United States by the ‘Georgian Dream’ regime is allegedly helping Russia evade U.S. sanctions, the purpose of which is to weaken Putin’s war machine,” American Congressman Joe Wilson (Republican Party) wrote on social media.

“The U.S. Treasury Department should investigate this. I look forward to further examination of this matter,” Joe Wilson wrote on X.

The U.S. Congressman was responding to an article published by OC-Media, which stated that “the husband of Georgia’s ambassador to the United States, Tamar Taliashvili — Davit Kukhalashvili — is the founder and managing director of a law firm in Moscow that advises clients on how to evade EU and U.S. sanctions and avoid asset freezes.”

Ambassador of Korea Hyon Du KIM - Korea’s strength lies in high-tech manufacturing while Georgia’s strength is in logistics and service areas - Georgia should not be just considered as a single market but as a market that can encompass the region and beyond
