Citizens gathered on Rustaveli Avenue are marching

Citizens gathered on Rustaveli Avenue have begun a protest march.

The route of the march is unknown, and the organizers are determining the direction spontaneously.

Before the march began, one of the organizers, Tato Khelbakiani, addressed the participants, saying that a new form of protest would be devised in accordance with the recent amendments to the law on assembly and expression, so that the process would cause minimal harm.

“Georgia, stand up, rise up!” “To the end! To the end!” — chant the participants as they march.
